A 9-alarm fire may have taken Ed’s life on 3/26/14, but it can’t extinguish his spirit. The Ed Walsh Foundation was created to help share Ed’s giving spirit and to keep his memory alive.
Ed was a devoted husband, loving father and a friend to everyone who met him. He had a warm smile and quick wit that put everyone at ease. He will forever be remembered as a person who brought out the best in all of us and who brightened our days with his up-beat personality and positive attitude.
Whether coaching baseball, volunteering, or working at the YMCA, Ed was always helping children, families and his community. Ed’s life was devoted to serving others and the goal of the Foundation is to carry-on Ed’s dedication to helping people in need.
